We are proud to have been involved in the design and supply in the lighting solutions at the unique and first of its kind KLNIK in Wilmslow, Cheshire. It is a luxury aesthetics and well-being clinic which is the most prestigious clinic outside of London, with a £3.4 million investment. This project challenged our lighting designers to fulfil the brief of creating a truly unique environment. This was decided by Dr Rosh, the award-winning clinical director who Ajay worked very closely with throughout the whole project. By introducing the LED technology to create a feeling serenity and calmness, this was done very effectively. For a high-end boutique clinic, it was crucial to create a space that made both, clients and staff feel comfortable and relaxed to ensure the best possible experience.
We took a completely different approach with this project as it was all about the journey. With the use of colour tuneable Occhio Mito’s, which ensured the clients felt calm and relaxed, this was very important to us. At each different point of the process, their emotions were carefully considered, to guarantee an enjoyable time at the KLNIK. Our expert knowledge allowed us to create a journey for the clients using carefully selected lighting in the building, to lead them from the reception, to treatment rooms and into relaxation areas. Aesthetic procedures can make people feel anxious and stressed, especially in an unknown setting. Our lighting solutions meant the environment gave them a calming effect which helps to reduce nerves and create a sense of tranquillity.
Our team used quality, high end glass products to create a no glare effect within the building. This would make the overall experience more enjoyable for both the staff and the clients themselves, and really bring out the luxury in the project. The building also showcases a ‘living’ wall, which is made up of different plants and flowers. This wall is lit up with downlights and the Occhio Mito’s themselves, effectively catching your eyes as soon as you walk in. The LED coving around the hallways and corridors leads clients to the treatment rooms. Everything we have thought about and done for this project, in our eyes, stands it out from other projects,.
