"Light and shade are the faces of architecture.
Just like the face reflects the character of a
person, a room can come into its own
through architectural lighting. My range of luminaires provides you with
design tools that allow you to add character
to a room. I would like to return to a minimalism
of form and promote a revival of
materiality, through which luminaires and
architecture melt into a powerful unity.
In 2004 – in my first catalogue – I promoted
the renaissance of the surface-mounted luminaire. Now, five years on, I would like to
continue on this path by introducing ›support strips‹ and creating new modes of
expression of light in the room.
